Currency is not supposed to be a store of value, assets without intrinsic value when supported by a large enough majority can work as means of exchanging intrinsic value. Buy into memes you think the majority will believe in, but remember real value is intrinsic, rest is memes. Intrinsic values value didn't crash when the Roman Empire crashed and Rome's currency's values value crashed with it. This is the final redpill

You can't really deny that futures markets are fucking cancer and encourage what is essentially manipulation. If you have enough money at your disposal, it's basically fucking free $$ to just manipulate prices all day while betting on futures and buying low/selling high.

well when you are able to leverage long or short something you are able to more fairly determine its true value. So the reason BTC and ETH have done nothing but dump since futures launched indicates they are/were way overvalued. We have yet to see what happens during a period of bullish sentiment, maybe all of the stacked leverage longs will drive BTC to 100k within just a few days, but so far it doesn't look good.
