The golden bullrun was December 2017-January 2018. There will never be that much FOMO and new normie money in the market again. Your best bet to make it at this point is short with x10 leverage at least, which is basically gambling.

In other words, anyone who wanted to make it, already made it. You are just fighting over crumbs.

We have at LEAST one good bullrun left. Not everyone got burned in February, and if they did, they'll be trying to make it back when prices begin to climb.

There will always be fomo as long as there is people with money. Even if the overall sentiment is negative and people have written crypto off as a bad idea, minds change quick as soon as they start seeing some $$$.

>those of you who thought buttcoin would replace fiat are fucked, no question. but smart contracts are inevitable
I was thinking like this in 2016. By now after reading some books I've reached the following conclusions:
Some crypto will get a market cap so high that it will be very difficult to manipulate, so it will become as stable as gold. Not sure which one yet. I'm doubtful about BTC because LN really sucks, they shot themselves in the foot with that approach.
Governments will compete with eachother to have more market liquidity with that crypto so their fiat money could become as stable.
No smart contract platform will be useful before some cryptocurrency reaches mainstream. Until then, smart contracts are a gimmick. I got 'fooled' when I bought eth at $10 - I amde a lot of money, but I see much more clearly now that smart contracts are a meme at this point.

I agree. Last bullrun exchanges were not ready and most people got stuck in the ID verification phase. By the time it got ready, hype had cooled off and they didn't bother buying anymore.

that's the point. BTW the only coins worth anything are coins that have broad applications. LINK, Bitcoin, Ethereum, etc. Coins like AMB which have singular applications are only worth something to the companies who adopt them. I FOMOED into ELIX the day before it launched it's application and it fucking dropped to half the price it was worth. before. Thankfully I only put a couple hundred dollars into it.

>> No.10843192

>>10843132
yup, no way it was the normies pushing up the prices in dec.

the prices were pushed up by whales, and the normies bought the top around 17K+

normies got out around 10K, salvaging a near 50% loss

normies are not smart enough to be buying btc around these cheap prices

they'll wait until it's "safe" to do so when CNBC tells them to do so at BTC 30K
