I'm 23 with a steady career that has me on track for 6 figures within 5 years. I also have no student debt. I could do what most people in my situation do and blow 50k on a truck or nice car. Instead I've been living frugally and putting my extra income into link. Worst case I lose ~50 grand and learn a hard lesson. In that scenario I am still better off than most college graduates at my age and will start putting my savings into more traditional investments. Best case I become a multi-millionaire before age 30. I think it is worth the risk.

I'm well aware of what chainlink is. Don't be a butthole. I'm just saying that people who are extremely well off, financially, probably didn't get there by going all in on a risky investment.

Though I believe that chainlink is an extremely useful project and seems like it will do very well, I can't predict the future and neither can any of you. So you have to balance risks vs their reward. Crypto as a whole is risky.

Remember!: Prospects for successful technology do not translate to prospects of wealth. Take the airplane industry for example, investors didn't make much money there in the long run. Same with the computer industry and internet.

Crypto is still very new and changing rapidly.
