So anon, why don't you ride a bicycle to commute? It'll save you money by not needing gas, insurance, or a car payment as well in health. That's more shekels in your pockets to put into your portfolio. Don't tell me you fell for the vehicularjew.

"because i have a real job where i can't arrive sweaty and rained on" is what i'd say if i wasn't a NEET

I already do. Good for heart and good for my mood. Only a 30 minute ride (car would be 20 minutes considering the traffic) and I get to pocket the same compensation I would get if I were to commute with a car.

My supervisor bikes to work every day, and he always just changes into a dress shirt when he gets into the office. Then he puts his gross shirt on the space heater.

Kek I unironical love my car ride. Got some coffee , some podcasts and the comfort of being alone and not bothered by the weather.

If you have a family and a busy job you really appreciate the ride.

I ride on times where to road are empty though.

Because the company I work for pays for my car lease and gas. So going to work by car costs me less than having to buy a bike and maintaining it. Also, a bikeride to work would take approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes. The car ride takes 20 minutes.

There are literally no upsides to me taking my bike to work. I use the additional 3 hours added to my day to go to the gym and cook some good food every day.

A country with actually dense cities that are not inhabited by hobbits. Not every city is Copenhagen or Amsterdam. Even London with its cycling culture barely has cycling paths.
And either way, breathing heavily anywhere in a city is not good for your health since the air is dirty. Only in small towns would I consider cycling to be healthy.

What do office drones do with their riding clothes throughout the day? Do they just sit and stink in a bag? Would people pay a couple of dollars for a laundry service that comes to your office, collect your clothes, washes them, then returns them before you finish in the afternoon?

Yeah thats bullshit senpai. No fucking way it takes near 2 hours to cycle a 20 minute drive.
Unless you are some unfit morbidly obese lardhead from america, on some tricycle you got as a kid.

On a road bike, a normie could do a 20 minute car journey in 40 minutes easy. Unless you are doing the whole trip on a motorway.
