Alts crashed on monday because crypto nerds pulled their money out into BTC and tether because of the ETH fud.

Alts bounced the rest of the week because the same money was moving back into alts because it thought the storm was over.

No new fucking money moved in. Most alts are still well below where they were even a week ago. There is no change in the wider crypto narrative that is fed to normies that would lead to outside investors starting to get their toes wet again. Without a change in narrative and new normie FOMO money rushing in, alts will continue to bleed incrementally every time bitcoin jumps more than 5% in either direction, indefinitely, just like they have for the past 6 months.

I feel like this forum has the memory of a demented goldfish, we have one of these psycho panics and a weeklong mini-renaissance among alts afterwards, like, once every month. Every time people are sure it was the bottom. Why would this time be different.

Agree completely. Nobody believes the realists though.
We're looking at a few more weeks of alts bleeding out, but if people are smart, they'll be able to short/take profits during the volatility.

Alts lag after Bitcoin, until Bitcoin finds its bottom the alts are in free fall. Everything is still overvalued, until you see every alt devalued by 95-99% from ATH all across the board, the bottom is not in.
Some alts could still lose 50-70% from current price.

Also the market sentiment is not bad enough, nobody expects the upcoming blood. When the real bottom comes you'll see capitulation on social media. And people are still charting bounces and saying that this is the bottom lol.
