not really no. when i started like 7 years ago i had 10k student loan debt and no savings and a pretty low salary. now i got about 71k savings in funds and real estate and cash and a little bit of btc. my salary kept growing my savings kept growing i have longed some currencies that made me more money than early investments, i'm at a point where compound interest should start to kick in. my goal is to retire in an other 7 years. in that time i will save an other 125k and i expect a return of an other 50k on my investments in interest, but my biggest hope is btc going to first $100k and then $1mil. if it does i make it if it doesn't i most likely have to churn a few more years on it. it gets faster and faster the more money you have.

the trick i think because i have been where op is now, as you get more money accumulated your times gets more expensive. your expectation for compensation grows naturally with it. and somehow life provides you will earn more and more money and if you live frugally and save a lot and invest wisely you can retire in 10-15 years this has been proven countless times.
