Purchased a 15 acre farm around 50km from a rural town with a population of 3000 (Coonabarabran) for around 100k AUD, used to go stargazing here as kids with parents so know my way around the area. Indeed, but the situation for countries like the United States and Australia are different because we generally lack options to just walk over to the border (We have none, and you merifags have Mexico/Canada). Our countries are so large, that there are many areas that you can bunker down and weather out the storm until stability is back instead of fleeing the country.

Think the difference between most preppers and those that think we're crazy, is that we don't want anything to happen to our family whenever signs are pointing to the probability of shit hitting the fan. You can be sure that we'll be out of the metropolitan area whenever things look dicey, and have the option to return back home whenever things calm down.

Still not sure if it's a retarded idea to set up a faraday cage to protect my computing equipment and crypto hardware wallets, as EMP's will wipe off communication. But the dip will be so juicy right?

Yeah that's what my wife is telling me also to not waste money on the faraday cage. But surely blockchains will be recovered from servers and revived so it can continue? It may be just the catalyst to show why crypto is needed, since most debt/money records of money will be wiped out. Plan is to have hidden entrances and CCTV surveillance as second tier to security.
