What I would do if I didn't want to downloda any software (cause paranoid):

Open PDF (scan it first).
Take a picture of the entire page.
Put that shit into Paint or your replacement if you are macfag.
Write your text or scribble your sig.
Copy that image into word and/or export to PDF then and there.

Check and make sure it looks ok.

It might be a shit test from your new employer to see if you are a complete retard, which in this case you are.
