So I went to the flea market the other day and went around talking with different vendors and found that the costs to run booths actually isn't at all expensive(30 bucks a week for some of them! one in a decently volumed spot). I was thinking of ways to maybe get a shop going with my current capital(5-6K but I can get more if I need to save) what is a good thing to maybe flip at a flea market, or stuff I can maybe make(have a few friends who need money and would be willing to be paid peanuts) that would be profitable?

Or any of you think it's a bad idea? I'm really just spitballing here.

Next spring sell flowers and plants-buy wholesale and sell cheaper than the greenhouses. Markup is pretty high.

Ooooh nice, I like the idea. what would be the best source to get these plants?

Anyone else got anything cool like this?

What are some good reliable items to flip on websites like craigslist for easy cash? I assume it should be fairly easy to catch low-priced items and put them back on the website with only a 5 or ten dollars mark up.

Most people that go to flea markets aren’t looking for anything in particular. So if you have a table or stand or whatever of random gadgets or things that make people stop and take a closer look you’re doing good. Random shit though. Sometimes I go into Walgreens for chapstick and come out having spent $80 not knowing wtf happened but still happy. People go to spend money, tell them what to buy.
