I instantly fell in love with trading since day 2, so i've been trading pretty much this whole time. I don't expect you to be a masterrace strategic and critical thinker (although degenerate because of instant gratification).

Cut your losses early. If you can, buy at a level before it makes another leg up so you're comfy. Then let your winners run. If it starts to drop and gets near where you bought, dump it.

Try to figure out some basic chart stuff like supports and resistances, so you know when things are bad (important support broken for example). That way you can get out early when things turn bad.

Combine that with overall market sentiment (in Icon's case, nobody had any faith in it after the delays and token bug, along with the overall bear market).

Overall the goal in a bear market is preserving capital at all costs. Don't feel ashamed to quickly "panic sell" if you're close to a loss, or down already. You don't have to be in all the time, it's ok to sit on the sidelines until there's a trade you're 90% sure about rather than keeping your money in and praying.
