Coinbase. Gemini. Any other exchange connected to your bank. People complaining about their accounts being closed or frozen, bank deposits never actually happening, and funds being held in limbo forever. Banks are centralized anyway so maybe the safest bet is to never cash out...but then again the fall from this bullrun has been brutal and I want to live my fucking life

I've cashed out close to $100k on gemini with no issues. To a USAA checking account if that makes any difference.

What about all the complaints in their subreddits and company representatives saying “I’ve found your ticket, looking into it now” and it never getting resolved?

My withdrawal at Kraken was stuck in limbo for over a month. Called my bank multiple times and it was krakens fault, they kept giving the run around and finally I had to look up their personal addresses and threaten a lawsuit against multiple people who run it before they gave me my funds.

This is the kind of scenario that should be on everyone's minds. Exchanges are rolling in so much money they don't have to do shit. I guess we just have to purchase everything we need directly with crypto.

they are fine just dont withdraw 400k at once or you end up like that schmuck who got his bank account frozen. withdraw 20-40k a time.

Don't know anything about that. Just know they paid me.

cashed out ~$75k over the last year, usually in $5-15k incriments and never had a problem at all other than some delays in being paid (said 7-14 business days, ended up taking 20+ business days) but I was never cashing out money I needed immediately so it wasn't a big deal for me.

Can't speak about situations where people are withdrawing much more ($500k-$1MM+) but for me, cashing out living expenses has been fine.
