Some people want privacy for drugs and hoes and shit. You use monero for that.

Finally, we need our independent monetary channels (exchanges). There are several projects working on this like NIX.

Most alts are scams. No, you can't do smart contracts with blockchains. That's like 90% of the scams out there and it's all BS.

Investing in only one shitcoin is basically investing in the lottery. You need to invest in multiple, and switch constantly.

All you need to know is that since coins don't follow demand/supply, patterns are different- follow short term trends rather than predicting long ones. Nobody can tell you what will 10x next month with any reasonable degree of reliability. But it's still worth investing if you think that'll happen for whatever reason, just not a lot.
