Segregated Witness.

What is the 'witness data'?
The witness data is the cryptographic signature declaring 'the person who can provably sign for this bitcoin can spend it'.
What happens when the witness data is removed from the transaction hash calculation equation?
The chain of cryptographic signatures is broken.
If the chain is broken, what worth is the Bitcoin?
It's WORTHLESS. It is nothing more than an 'IOU one broken Bitcoin'.

What else happens when the chain is broken? It's integrity is corrupted (i.e. It becomes censorable).
