Pretty amazing how IV gets crushed after earnings. I've been checking SNAP call/put for AUG 10 with strike $13 for a few days now. Both were about $1.10 the day before earnings. The call is worthless now and put like $0.70. With IV of 200% you really have to be on the selling side. I don't like unlimited loss/margin plays, but I'm not sure I can resist again next time.

Pretty shitty intraday trader here and this sounds cliche, but it's true: "if you have to ask if you should close your position, then close your position." Maybe it comes back, maybe it doesn't, but in my opinion the only (or at the very least the main) reason intraday trading can work is because the individual doing it decisively knows when they will get out before they get into the trade and decisively follows their exit game plan as needed. This is what allows you to structure sensible risk-reward positions. If you decide to risk .15 points, as a general rule of thumb you were doing so because you believed a move of .30 points or greater was possible. The bigger you let your losses get, the more you should instinctively think how absurd it is to hold the position.

In your case, you're down $110 with an entry at 19.40. Last price I see is 19.02, which means you were running with around 290 shares, maybe 280 after commissions. Started the day above 19.40, trended down pretty cleanly, and looks like it got above 19.40 a couple times after the initial drop under that level around 10:42, but after it failed to get above 19.46, held under VWAP, and went under ~19.37, it was at the very least time to lighten up if not exit entirely from an intraday perspective.
