youre looking at it naively. think of the crypto market as a dotcom goldrush 2.0 and eth's use case is getting a foothold in the meta. an analogy from the dotcom boom would be like, if there were tones of vaporware shit websites registered and publicly traded during the dotcom boom, eth would be like godaddy. owning land to sell or rent to miners during the gold rush. you get the idea.
