People begin to place their sell orders beneath the wall so that they can actually sell their supply, and buyers cognitively believe that the large supply is not worth that much and so are looking for lower sell bids. That creates a competition to see who will undercut to the lowest sell price, thus driving the price DOWN as you see is clearly happening here.
