i read all the market wizards books, it's been awhile but IIRC the lessons are:
>be born in the right place at the right time
>trade what you know
>get rekt a few times
>get lucky on one play with stupid amounts of leverage
>trade low risk the rest of your life using common investment advice and pretend you had a secret no one else had
