We could argue about Skycoin for hours and I' d still believe that Skycoin is not perfect. Yet.
Wonderful project but it's still unfinished. Because of that some are skeptical. Can this fact be used to attract a certain type of users? visionaries, loyal, rational who would stay for the long run?? Can this stand as a solid argument for you to join?

so many questions, let me add some more

Lol. W8. I have a question too: Synth left BTC for SKY. Is he a Brutus?

>> No.10550039

SKY certainly seems to be much more a long run project. Speculators want quick wins and when they are slow in coming the FUDders show up to cry. So yes, I think the long run characteristic of SKY will attract different players. Slow is beautiful haha

Why a Brutus, he left Bitcoin because he had better ideas, which he couldn't develop there. Sky seems to be his love baby.

Saw some over optimistic views but the reasons are understandable. The project comes with high expectations. Luckily sky meets both short and long needs

Synth never developed BTC, it's all made up bullshit. Can your shill group just fuck off to Minecraft

Hey. Thanks for your contribution, you contribute to the conversation too. We all are curious for your argumentation ofcourse.

What Skycoin are trying to achieve will happen eventually, probably sooner than people think.
Maybe they wont be the ones to achieve, but they're the only candidate right now.

According to my research I could move my biz on fiber and get my own token on that platform. This is now. Later I could use the network, don't know when.. if u ask me, the whole ecosystem will be fully available in 3/4years

I did my research too, their whitepaper is inspiring as are the interviews with Synth. I made my long term choice.

True statement. No other project aiming this high. Skycoin develops the ultimate technology in cryptoworld

Isnt Nexus attempting mesh networking but actually sending their own satellites into orbit through a partnership with a legitimate space n aerotech company? Seems a lot more viable than some home run raspberry pis and eventual dishes.

The whole SKY approach is like a breath of fresh air compared to most other alt coins. I hope it will succeed, it's too important to fail. The independence of banks and their whole financial system is too important. If not SKY then who?

>> No.10550425

>>10550352
Anyone can send satellites into space, it's really not that big of a deal. Actually writing out the networking nuts and bolts and establishing infrastructure on the ground it the hard part, which is what Skycoin has been doing since 2013

>> No.10550452

The prime channel of Nexus is based on PoW. And the 3rd channel is similar to PoS. Skycoin uses Obelisk.
This makes skycoin more interesting.
Nexus is slightly different than btc mining system, while Skycoin eliminates all pow/pos issues. With Skycoin there is no mining, which means there will be no competition between nodes, they won't work against each other but they will work based on TRUST

>> No.10550483

although is a good project, nexus doesn’t even operate locally, they said ‘maybe’ they will produce anntenas , maybe. Skycoin gives me the power to become my own isp and they alreay work on antennas, few prototypes available, dyor

afaik satellites cost 0.5-1.5 million to launch and last for one year before having to be replaced. Who is paying for this? Nobody who is using Skycoin. Skycoin might launch a satellite or two, but that would only be for a marketing stunt. And it would not need to be replaced. Undersea fiber is state of the art, and will remain so for quite some time.

Wish I was still blue pilled to believe space flight or satellites are real

>> No.10550855

On mobile and too many of yall to reply to. Nexus says cost 20-50k so no where near others. Only last a year? That's just untrue. It's been in development since 2014 and the satellites will mesh with ground networks so it will become localized as well. Also quantum resistant and all separate chains will operate in tandem. Seems a lot more robust than sky.

Never heard of Nexus, sky attracts a lot more attention. Or so it seems.
