I will teach you how to become a millionaire.

1. Dollar cost average invest in bitcoin for the next three years. Pic related.

Crypto has at leaat one more strong run before diminishing returns starts to peter out.

2. Halvenings are by farrrrr the most important events

You need to arrange your investment timings to hit the halvenings hard. That means you invest invest invest.

I would shoot for 200k in crypto by next halvening if you want retirement money with the next bull run. 15-20x anticipated.

Again, Halvening is all that matters !!

OP this is great info but I have ZERO BTC and ZERO USD to get some with.

Why don't you help create one more future millionaire and share with me like a fourth of a Bitcoin man

>Halvenings

BTC Halvenings are by far the most important events that crypto noobies don't understand. This is more important than the ETF. New money is still coming into Bitcoin but miners still get 1800 newly minted BTC per day that they end up selling. To support the current BTC price we're getting more than $400 million new money per month. Now imagine we only have 900 new coins minted per day and the demand has grown with Bitcoin's network effect increasing. Boom mother fucker. Keep accumulating slowly boys.

Keep in mind crypto has two forces going for it. Appreciation of crypto and depreciation of fiat.

This creates a compounding effect on value of crypto.

First sensible btc thread on /biz/ in awhile. Bump.

When is a good time to buy, rather not put it in now knowing it will dip further.

Thinking $5K or $6K

I wouldn't say any crypto. It has to be a crypto where the network effect is growing. Most of these are fly by night cryptos. I'd recommend reading the Bitcoin Standard.

> Dollar Cost Average

Over the long run it's not going to matter whether you bought at $5K or $10K really. Really hasn't mattered whether I bought at $250 or $500

Yeah no. Your advice should say "crypto" not Bitcoin. If you still look at Bitcoin and think it's going to be worth 100's of thousands one day you're really really out of touch with the fundamentals of the ecosystem.

This pic makes the halfening look like the end of bear markets, which means we have 2 years of bear to go

I know what you're getting at but its not quite the same. If BTC sees the same meteoric rise then I'd agree.

Bitcoin hitting >$100K... Who knows.. Maybe not

brainlet here. Wouldnt the halving take less time then the previous halvenings as there is much more interest in mining BTC than in the past?

>> No.10540301

BTC halves every 210000 blocks mined so 1 block every 10 minutes this comes to about 10 years. The protocol shifts difficulty to maintain this 10 minute mark.

>> No.10540308

>>10540274
Read up on btc basics. If more people mine the difficulty gets harder, you don't get blocks more frequently.

What are you putting your fiat into then? Any crypto that isn't finite completely defeats the purpose of a currency. Etc. XRP Eos Ether all worthless, they will not last.
