Probably, but has that stopped any chink coin from suprassing a billion marketcap? I think the reason this coin gets fudded so much is Monerofags are worried they might lose a chunk of their marketcap kek. Nobody on /biz/ gives a fuck if someone gets scammed (hell they laugh). Kind of Ironic too considering Monero itself is also a fork.

Depends on the red flags. And I didn't say that it could be a gem because it was fudded, it's just that if you see entire groups dedicated to FUDDing it they're probably doing for an other reason than just prevent anons from investing in a scam.

The FUD about premine is stupid.

Because you can't lock a certain high in a DAG, because DERO create blocks at same time so technically speaking it's impossible to predict which branch of the Tree will grow faster. The Blocks Ordering append after some confirmation, so how we suppose to predict in which Block Height.

And even if you could predict the block height where to lock the premine, it will be useless because more you will have TX (spent coins) and more you will have blocks create a the same time.

More users = More blocks = Larger DAG = Faster emission.

So technically we could even reach the max supply of 18.4M in 3 or 4 years instead of 8.

I've done a lot of research on this coin recently so I will help you guys catch up.

Dero is a mesh of code taken from Monero, Ethereum, Byteball, and Bitcoin, which makes me think the developers behind it are Chinese.

The original marketing staff walked out after they saw some major red flags with the project.

There is a large pre-mine, yet to be dispersed.

Before asics mining blocks was slow and difficult, after asics were released mining was adjusted so that asics could mine more blocks and faster than regular miners could in the past (ties to bitmain?).

The "captain" calls his group of insiders a "foundation" and sources claim he wants to pay Mcafee to pump Dero so they can offload the pre-mine and asic mined coins on investors.

This is true, but DERO is a real gem. People won't realise it until it pumps 100x, it's what happened with XRB, ETH, ANS and many other heavily doubted coins. People who FUD often have a motive, and will not do it if it doesn't benefit them somehow.
