Buy the 340 call, sell the 360 call. Max loss is the difference in price between the calls (about $100 when I bought in) called the 'debit', max profit is the difference in strike price minus the debit (so, $1900). This is called a debit spread, it's the simplest spread

Did my first set of futures trading today on /NQ. Made 500$ in 3 minutes and promptly lost it 10 minutes later. Many fun though.

One contract moving a few ticks makes the gains feel good. I might pick a slower contract though since my stops would be too tight for the tick cost on the /nq.

The nice thing about futures are that there are no daytrading rules, 1 dollar fees and lower margin requirements since the contracts are settled daily. Might look into forex next, seems a bit scary trading millions of paper dollars with one contract though.

You just have to aggregate all the different trends associated with the asset. For instance national trends, general market trends, tech trends, etc etc etc. If the asset is undervalued and those trends all look good then buy it.

I would start trying to understand what the world will look like in different intervals. For instance what is the best imaginative view of jan 2019 you have in terms of where all the stocks should be.

The only function you need to look at is the cars per week relative to stock price. The uncertainty of 2k a week was replaced with close to 5k a week and stock was relatively down a shitload in 3 months.

I used the most basic dumb analysis. There is no logical reason why the reason would value it at 300 at 5k per week, when they valued it near there at 2k per week.

Tesla loses money on every car they make. The more cars they make, the more money they lose. Their "alien dreadnaught" never panned out. They have not proven scalability. The have an insane amount of debt and very bad credit. The previous prices were based on them achieving profits/break even in the near future. That has not materialized.
