There are benefits for taking longer to pay off my federal debt maybe. Teacher loan forgiveness of 5,500$ if I complete five years at a school like the one I am at right now. I could potentially pay off my private student loan debt in a year and a half while I practice paper trading like you suggested.

Refinance won't really get me that low of a rate. Not a significant difference. My highest % loan is my private student loan one at 6%, rest of them are 4-5% already.
