So I got a pretty solid idea for a crypto related project while watching a podcast.
The problem is that I'm a nobody, with little to no funding and nowhere near enough programming knowledge to make this idea come into fruition.
How would I go about finding individuals to invest in the project and/or work for me, without them either stealing the idea or taking over the project?

It's a much needed open source / blockchain based alternative to an existing website which is currently used by billions of people.
It would provide a peer to peer platform for creative individuals, let's say. I'm not sure how I would go about monetizing this, other than taking a cut directly from these individuals, which I suppose would be okay. I wouldn't mind going non-profit, but there would have to be some way of covering the cost of servers, at least until p2p consumption of digital content becomes more scalable.

That's really as much as I would like to give up Pretty sure it is already quite obvious what I'm thinking of creating based on that description.

Couldn't find anyone who is currently working on anything similar. Honestly, not sure if this idea would even work until there's an efficient way of sending/receiving microtransactions (i.e. lightning network).

Nah, it's something that actually benefits both creators and consumers on the platform, if they decide to use it over the non-blockchain counterpart.

Not sure what you mean by that? Sounds like you're defending my stance on this? Either way, to be clear, if the idea went through and became widely adopted, I wouldn't care about fame or even money. I care more about the fact that it improved the way creators and consumers interact.
