>Depreciation Starts The Moment You Drive Off The Lot.

Is buying a new car a meme?

>> No.10485802

New cars are for niggers who must constantly flaunt their wealth by wasting it. Unless you own a business and that depreciation is an asset (ie tax writeoffs) there is no reason whatsoever to buy a new car other than to masturbate on poor people.

yes, get a used 2-4 year old one. Most cucks want to ''''''''''keep resale value'''''''''' despite taking a depreciation hit

Yes. Lease or get them used. Unless you're buying something high end/collecting it's pointless.

people who buy the entry level 25k audi/mercedes are especially niggerish

they will stay poor forever and never make it

cars are memes, after fuel and taxes anand maintenance and paying for the car itself, its unironically just cheaper to get an Uber whenever I meed to go somewhere

Certified pre-owned. Lots of nice ones for sale. And you still get the off the lot satisfaction, as well as a better warranty.

HOWEVER, at the end of the day when it comes to cars, all things are equal. If you get something cheap with cash you'll likely have to put more money than you think into maintaining it. So, do you want a car payment or do you want repair bills? The choice is yours.

It really depends on your needs. Sometimes it makes sense to buy a new car, sometimes it doesn't. The problem is, people have trouble figuring out what's right for them.

The main reason it was explained to me is that people that have very limited time (and have $$$$$$) do not want to risk buying a used vehicle as it will more than likely need more time for repairs and other bs than a new car. Therefore, people with limited time buy new vehicles to save time and therefore money. Most high end car brands offer loaner vehicles even for oil changes so you do not have to waste time sitting there at the shop. Plus it is nice to have a new car that you know some meth head hasn't been smoking or cooking in....

This is a valid concern, though. I get the feeling that most people are just parroting what everyone else is saying, because they want you to think they're smart when they say, "Don't buy new!" In reality, most people don't consider the cost of uncertainty, the time and labor cost spent researching a used car on Car Fax or something, getting it repaired if something goes wrong, etc..

Peace-of-mind has a fair price. Try to find it, but don't pay more than that.

Driving a used car not under warranty sucks. Every time driving worrying about the next problem. Driving new car is nice because you could care less about the car and what breaks as you can just get it fixed for free. Used cars being cheaper are a meme if anything

>dont hit anybody
>minimal damage just a little scuffed up

Feels good. Before I had a 2016 charger and this would have been a real issue with that car, of course I'm not paying insurance nor do I give a fuck. I'm not doing this by choice though I am just poor.

Are you tires shit? Why did you spin out? Maybe a new car with better tires or more advanced stability system would have avoided the crash all together?

only poorfag virgins with low IQ and high delusional ego own a car in 2020. We call self-driving Tesla uber 2.0 to take us literally everywhere every single day for a fraction of what you pay for you fucking car loan and fuel... repairs. Plus, we shit on cars on a public parking lots because owning a car is simply fucking gay.

$25 a day to work and back via uber and 20 days per month is $500 a month. To get to grocery and other places adds more $. How does this save the average person money? Seriously curious.

>> No.10486196

It doesn't. He's just memeing.

If you live an extremely regimented life where all you do is go back and forth to work once per day, it might save you money, but if you have anything resembling a social life that requires you to go places on occasion, you'll spend more

I was going fast and I had to come to a bit of a grinding halt because there were cars at a stop, my shit started screeching and when I tried to get into the lane over i spun out. Yeah my previous car probably would have handled that fine.
