I make about $120k at the moment. I worked about 10 years in financial services making $24k at the end.

I then went freelance and have worked my day rate up from $250 to $490. I plan to do a course costing about $2500 which should put me in the market for $650 per day gigs.

It's not been easy, but nobody gave me it. I'm a uni drop out as well.

More people need to realize this. The supply of potential employees for businesses is gigantic nowadays. You can get ahead by being an employee, IF you nail each and every wise career move. But your quality of life will suffer.

This isn't going to change for the forseeable future, because we are nowhere close to kicking the spics and pajeets out. So in a risk/reward analysis, doing something other than wageslaving is probably actually safer, believe it or not.

Exactly, with automation based technology accelerating wage slaving is becoming less viable. Businesses will find every way possible to shaft their workers. Busting my ass 50-60 hrs a week in a factory making $500 (after tax) was peasant money. There were days I would make over $1,000 for a whole day on YouTube and the work was significantly easier. Each year it's becoming harder and harder to make decent wages. I would rather risk starting a business and failing 4 times, than going back to working like a peasant for bread crumbs.

not even a burger but my point is that those material possessions don't actually mean shit and living in a society that selects for greed is much shittier for the soul than living in some second world shithole with people that value community. the problem is everyone has adopted trash western materialistic values so society selects for that and 99% of people don't win in this system.

>> No.10476419

>>10476382
ye i get it, but we dont have any of those community values here either. Its as much materialistic as USA, but without the wealth. You'll notice that the poorer the people are, the more materialistic they actually are, cause they value any little wealth much more, cause it means more to them than you.
Poverty is way more soul crushing than any values your society holds, but you dont know that since you're burger

Was making myself dinner, sorry about the delay.

My job is pretty self explanatory, I'm a Business Development Representative. All that means is I'm the person who cold calls(although some of my leads are inbound) people and talks to them about setting up a demonstration of our product and I assess if they're a customer worth doing business with.

I would say if you aren't a complete autismo and this is something that interest you, look for a company that's B2B and make sure the product is SaaS or a really advanced technical solution. Do your own research about each company you look into and look for a premium product. To give you an idea of what quality means look at a software like Salesforce, they have a massive product-market fit(every company in the universe has a sales team which make it invaluable) so the product is easy to sell. You want something similar on a smaller scale, you want to work at a start-up or a newer company that doesn't understand how to set commission targets so it's very easy to overperform.

My cleaning business is pretty simple as well, I just went door to door offering to clean businesses at night. I do no residentials and Iive near multiple large office complexes and healthcare facilities so business is very lucrative when I do close out a contract and there's a lot of them available.

Making money from advertising is easy as long as you understand the ad tech space, I buy sites on sites like Flippa and Sedo and other brokers. This one hasn't taken off quite yet because I have improve my web development skills because I'm not a coder but I expect this to take off within the next year.

2/3 of these are really only possible in a larger city desu, you won't find greate tech sales job opportunities and you won't have enough businesses to contact if you live in Wyoming.
