not grimes. Not really a fanboy.

This week is gonna be interesting. So many people will get wiped out on the bull or bear side of Tesla.

best result would be it hangs around 310 on complete neutrality, almost impossible to imagine it doesn't swing though.

Where are they going to build 10k cars? More tents? This is a growth company that hemorrhages money and cannot grow with it's current equipment. The bond markets are cutoff to them as their rating is already junk. They need a capital raise, need it to be big and need it yesterday.

Very much so.
I had a friend. He got caught up on that stuff. He got clean for a while but had a relapse. It was a relapse that was so bad he wound up Oding and dying before ambulances arrived.

I'm the kind of guy who has friends at every rung of the socio economic ladder. Yet when a lawyer who knows better gets hooked, and continues despite knowing better dies and leaves behind his kids.
Well... It leaves an impact. I guess moreso because to me he should have known better. That he was fully capable of dealing with his issues in a different way, yet he relished the high and it cost him his life.

So, yeah I won't try to be moralistic. And if I ever try to, please for the love of god call me a witless fucking faggot who needs dick punched.
But I figured to at least say "I have strong feelings. Here's why."

>>10465574
agreed. I think tesla is still overvalued for forward focus. I think some production should drive price and not just "expectations" but i suppose that argument applies to a lot of tech.

It is a big red flag that the old legacy companies like GE, Ford and such cant make it work with all that money and manpower they have. And I also agree that Tesla revenue should be coming from batteries mainly.

I'd like to go back and visit again sometime. Perhaps after I finish the debt fixing and such. It'd be nice if I could turn a consistent profit Or at least enough of one where at the end of the week I'm positive stock wise. Then I'd be able to consistently generate enough earnings that I'd be able to occasionally travel again.
To that end, I've been dedicating time this weekend to learning more in order to accomplish that. My starting capital is rather sparse though. But it's something.

Also I bet on them being delisted first.

I'm down 8% on LTBR, my only investment and basically 99% of my portfolio (minus about two months of Gold fees for RH) and all I can say is watch a nigga and see how it's gonna do its intraday magic soon, pop 50% and end up maybe a nickel from the previous day's open. Foreign patents are still on the table, an announcement of a government grant is still on the table (this could be like the joint venture with Framatome, it could cause it to rocket and actually have some sustainability in the short term). It has not been below a dollar but for a short time, so the risk of a delisting notice is possible but still way off. Keep this stock in your watchlist. The facts are:

yeah i bought 180 shares thursday at 7.30 on thursday sold at open on friday bought 1500 at close, can always time em right but when they bounce they bounce hard they aren't my specialty but over the years i've learned how to cut my loss quick on them and try again for the bottom, i've had some really good ones over the years so i'll keep doing it. I only ever do it on stocks that have alot of noise around it.

Also yeah LCI is still a good buy IMO it's a longer term hold.. like a 3-6 month hold to dollar cost average, any major spike i'm selling majority of my position and will pick it back up on any dips, the trend is going to reverse soon.. will it ever see 30 again? probably not, but over the past 2 weeks O/S went from 40mill to now around 37 mill...

Looking at how many good expansions EUIV got through the years and the latest Stellaris ones, I can safely say Stellaris will keep getting a more and more enjoyable experience.

no, no one is concerned about the vidya market being in a bubble. this is because there are far larger bubbles out there m8. like the entire US market that somehow needs to de-leverage itself off of all the borrowed money that has been used to pump it up.

now that the free infinite money glitch got patched by the FED, things are gonna be different. its funny cuz youd think people would be more careful about where they put their borrowed money; but NOPE, folks are WAY less careful w money they borrowed. theyll buy wtf ever they feel like. people buy different things, and in less amounts when its w their OWN money. tho im unsure if vidya will be one of these things.

literally the only thing making it "bullish" rn is the fact that erdogan is supposedly negotiating giving back those american prisoners. everything else about the country is economically fucked, for a variety of reasons, but its been amplified because of the cost of "goods and services" over in syria.

but erdogan is (as much as i hate his slimy ass) a clever chess player. its not like him to just give back his most important piece like that (the prisoners in this case). he likes to hold leverage over all countries and intl groups at once, so he can leverage himself in between various NATO/russian/US/EU offers and make out like a bandit. it would be very uncharacteristic of him to let go of such a valuable bargaining chip over a world power.

the proposed US retaliation would be US sanctions being imposed, but although it certainly wouldnt help their economy, theyd probably be no worse off than before, more or less. but if he KEEPS the prisoner, thats one big favor that he could ask the US in exchange for letting him go. i expect this prisoner situation may drag on for a while, and i think erdogans cocky enough to put his whole countries economy up on the betting table

>same fucking time ETFs run rampant (on leverage no less)
funny, too, the KINDS of ETFs that have popped up. total traps like leveraged VIX ETNs, 3x leveraged ETFs for every bullshit sector you can imagine, and ETFs for all kinds of different fixed income devices. junk bonds being one of these types of ETFs that have EXPLODED in popularity over the years.

not only that, but the actual issuance of junk bonds has increased many multiples since 2009. why? because of the free infinite money glitch that the FED gave us as a bribe to come back into the markets. people and consumers went mad for it, but its the corporations that went absolutely buck wild for it. rolling debt into more debt w exponentially increasing exuberance.

>I hate feeling this way about my country
me too m8
>I don't know what the breaking point is
debt imo senpai. both consumer and corporate
>but doesn't it feel like the market has been an earnings arms race?
thats an excellent way of putting it. yes, exactly. it has to stop at some point. the corporate tax cuts pushed back the eventual collapse of this arms race, but eventually earnings wont be able to keep growing. if thats what everyone longterm is invested for (a lot of them are), then things could spin out very quickly

>this goes on until...?
again
imo this goes on until we see hi yields get completely BTFO, or we see major corporations start getting credit downgrades (which will lead to blown out yields)

>>10470920

The best way to fund your investing income is to go for volatile assets with low fees.

So trade ETF, Tech stocks (AMD for intance) or Forex if you like gamble.

idk, maybe its just a glitch.
whatever, some anon told me tastytrades has $1 commissions and free to close positions, and theyll let me take any kind of risk defined debit spread rather than schwab that blocks it behind lv2 (but DOESNT block naked long options. retarded isnt it?). so this might just be the beginning of the end of me using schwab for any options other than covered calls.

i dig the rest of the shit about them, theyre normally pretty good to me, but the slippage on options is horrendous (in addition to 4.95 per trade (both ways) theres also .65cents per contract in the position (both fucking ways)), and the pointless restrictions that are supposed to limit my risk as a retail trader, in fact expose me to much more
