I think according to their latest vlog the newest version of Nimiq Core is out with community nodes which should stabilize the network and eradicate the syncing issues. Now they're working on the Rust implementation and allowing 3rd parties to access KeyGuard, which will allow merchants to adopt it and put it in as a payment option natively in web based solutions.

Why? It's a generic argon2d coin with a web miner and some promises of things that barely matter even if they deliver. This isn't 2017 anymore--you're not going to be able to hype this largely useless coin out of the gutter.

3) keyguard allowing you to pay in a seamless manner without installing any app, basically metamask but 10 times better
4) user friendly UX and addresses so you don't send to the wrong address because of a typo
5) cashlinks allowing people to send money just by copy pasting a link

It just needs a progressive app and translation once Vue.js is ported and this is by far the best payment protocol ever made, it just shits on all of them so easily.

this isn't possible unless nodes are virtuallyz useless, i.e. not full nodes
