A day after reporting record quarterly earnings, SK Hynix announced Friday it would spend 15 trillion won ($13 billion) to build a new factory in Icheon, Gyeonggi, where its headquarters is located.

Construction will begin late this year and SK plans to finish it by October 2020.

This post is gonna likely get ripped apart by people much smarter and more logical than me. And that's ok. I completely respect them, and their intellect, for advocating the truth that is in front of their face.
MoviePass is hurting right now. It has been for several months. The tons of negative press (some of it planted by AMC, I'm sure) have diminished the stock price of Helios and Matheson by 99.99xxxx%. And today, just a few days after their reverse stock split, they are right back down from $25 per share, to a few dollars.
Investors much smarter than me would run for the hills. But, I'm gonna take another shot on them, and buy more stock. (Only with my discretionary funds, mind you). And if you believe in MoviePass, I would encourage you to buy a few bucks worth or whatever, too.
I'm not saying the company is perfect. And quite frankly, their model is flawed. But I believe in the idea. I truly think that in a year, MoviePass can successfully monetize its subscriber base, and turn a tidy Qx profit.
What they need, however...is time.
Nothing Farnsworth says will help this company anymore. He's done a great job, but ultimately, it comes down to the subscriber base advocating for the model, signing up for MoviePass, and casual investors such as myself propping up the company long enough until it stands on its own, damn the torpedos.
I'm pretty sure this isn't the next Netflix, Amazon, or Uber. But I am excited to be onboard (for the future...or until this company gives up the ghost) with a disruptive business model such as this one.
If you wanna go on an dangerous risk reward ride, consider my words, share them (FB, etc too), sign up, maybe even pony up. Send a message to Wall Street that you have confidence in HMNY stock. It's a looooongshot...but big wins always bear a little risk.
