Only me, or is biz getting less meaningful? Only things i find here is very low quality shills and broke/incel whine.

That happens whereever you enter a community. At first all the jargon, argot and everything else cultural is new so you not only are you trying to get whatever you can out of this place (memes, ta, SMG, shitposting) you are also getting adjusted to the mileue.

But once that is done you reach diminishing returns on this place rather quickly.

No, this website has gotten really shitty lately, /v/ especially

it's also stupid in proportion to the bearness of the market
when the market tanked people didn't want to talk about crypto

>Only me, or is biz getting less meaningful?

That's sugarcoating for "biz is getting shittier and shittier by the day". If there's one thing biz is good for (the only good thing actually) is to find new, promising coins. These days, there's only bagholders shilling their really shitty shitcoins (think 0xbtc, turtlecoin etc), coins who already pumped and dumped and have no future. It's pathetic.

right. the ico market shrank and no new good coins have been introduced. so there's nothing new to talk about

I first came to /biz/ in Dec 2016 and it's definitely degenerated quite a bit since then.

biz is dead
the next bull run is years away
every single one of the alt coin in the top 100 is overvalued
why even live

>> No.10414947

Y'all didn't even browse here when 95% of the posts were /rgt/ and pharma penny stocks, meanwhile crypto hodlrs were looked down on as they accumulated.

This lowered activity level perfectly aligns with the markets. Low interest in crypto works in favor of the market with less and less weak handed brainlets selling their bags after buying the top. I predict a slow climb through late summer/fall through 2019. Coins will hit and surpass their 2017 ATH around Q4 of 2019, and the next bullrun will start as the next 1% of normies FOMO in.

>> No.10415051

Personally ive come here on reflex, i think the mix of very strong emotions ("AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH") and visually strange/sexy material triggers things in the brain that makes you want to browse it continuously. But i learn nothing. Plebbit is lame, but they actually do research and discuss things pertinent to crypto development and reception.

If i have learned anything the last couple years, it is that information is king. I feel the autists have left this place, and for every leaving autist, three normies came. In addition to that, corporations and institutions come ("howdoyoudofellowkidsplsdrinkm0nsterultr4").

Im not going to whine 100%, there are still odd bits and pieces that are good here. But when i see printscreens from old, really, really thoughtful analyses and the anons actually critically improving the thought of each other, it makes me think something is lost.

Where did the smart people go? I guess the most intelligent people got gains, and hence perhaps have no need for biz shitfests any longer. They are perhaps trying the normie life, having drinks on the beach. But what of the rest? Where should i go for new information and an intelligent community devoted to dissecting it?
