I'm with you. The problem most don't realize that silver and gold is guarantee gains. The economy is a pendulum. The value of the dollar will fall and as usual silver and gold with go up. No matter what if you buy when the economy is good you are guaranteed to win. Sure it may not be a homerun like bitcoin but making money no matter what is great. Also, what most forget is it truly helps you because you save your money by changing it from one form of currency to another and if you are ever hurting you can just liquidate it with ease.

until we import it from space and eventually even can manufacture gold and silver. maybe 100 years left as a store of value tops.

what i dont understand right now though is why anyone would buy silver instead of gold

so what? gold does just fine but it can be stretched much thinner than silver and last time i checked we were heading towards smaller and smaller electronics. for anything larger copper is just fine in terns of price.

not really understanding what youre trying to teach me here but im thinking electronics meant for space and such. when off world industry gets going gold will be in high demand and then a while after both gold and silver will be in surplus. maybe 100 years was a bit optimistic, lets say 200 years before the thing gets going

>> No.10407865

>>10407660
An easier answer is silver is under valued 81-1 gold ratio. When it gets back down to around 35-1 or so then gold is better. Both will double value but at the prices you can afford a lot more silver so hence make more!

Almost all silver bullion is the same or close to the same purity. Buy something you like and don't pay too much above spot price.

also something to consider when deciding whether to invest in gold or silver is the storage. you need over 100 times more space to store silver compared to gold (same USD amount). and that silver has over 70 times more weight.

>>10407890
