Fell for the litecoin meme.

well, whoop de fucking doo. you won whales, this long time LTC marine is laying down his arms. enough is enough.

i bought at the high and scaled in until my average price was around 160 and until i held 84 coins. I don't see LTC ever going back up to that in the next few months just for me to break even. Going to sell my stack so i can at least get most of 1 bitcoin which is a better long term hold...it only pains me that i was an idiot who didn't use a stop loss so now no one will ever buy my heavy bags.

This is what I don't understand. Good news all around. Great team, tainted by the fact Charlie sold. Every development BTC gets, LTC will get also because they are so similar.
Yet it's so undervalued. I've lost all faith in this coin. I've told myself this is the bottom countless times, and once it got below .013, I knew something was seriously wrong.
That's when I should have sold, but I didn't. Now it's a game where the whales keep it down for as long as possible.

I think it's more of a red flag if anything if the face of the project is now stating he's going to work towards driving up the value when he was warning about price dump after unloading his bags. Litecoin, is doomed IMO. Unless it becomes a trading pair and is used in trade then it's nothing more than a useless btc clone. The original bcash. I dumped all of mine from 200-130. Litecoin Cash is Charlie's vision anyway.

Its not that LTC is a bad investment, it will hover around .02 forever, but if you know what /biz/ is you should be able to find good shitcoins that are going to give you ridiculous ROR %'s. Theres no reason to be hoping for a 4x when soon to 100x's get posted here daily

I mean once gold was centralized and bank notes were used silver lost to gold as a store of value. With the lightning network it really makes litecoin obsolete. If you mined some back in the day you could have made some profits. 1 ltc is still like .01 bitcoin. If you are still in stupid alts at this point it is your own fault.

You altcoiners just don't understand the economic reality that there can only be one money if the existence of multiple is not enforced by force and violence. Especially when two monies are very similar and instantly swappable (like over atomic swaps). Now that the last bastion fast low fee transaction has conquered by bitcoin, even this last value proposition (which is none because altcoins buy these properties with reduced security) has vanished.
