Is medical school a good investment?

only if you're generally interested in medicine and dealing with patients. if you're just in it for the money then definitely not.

For the school? Yes.
For you? If you need to ask, then no.

Do dentistry instead. You never have to deal with peoples buttholes and you can steal nitrous oxide and give it to female hippies in exchange for the sex.

then it's worth it. assuming you make it through med school and residency and aren't an absolute retard with your money you can probably pay it off in 5 or so years.

one of the highest career:suicide rate correlations though, still dont understand why but it might have something to do with the overwhelming guilt of jewing people out of their money in exchange for a functioning set of teeth which will rot away in years due to the overabundance of sugar in our diets.

Also, dont forget to tell everyone that they MUST get their wisdom teeth removed

Sure, you pay a few hundred thousand dollars now, and then get the chance to work 14 hr days for the rest of your life.

Go to your in state school and avoid paying private med school tuition if possible. You’ll never make the money difference back and if you go private practice no one cares where you went to med school.

Pick a residency with a good lifestyle. I work hard when I’m working but get 17-18 weeks off a year with no nights.
