really crazy how we seem to be approaching the end of USD. the house of cards is ready to fall because left and right extremists are finally ruining the economy past the point of fixing it, there's no moderates left anymore.

just spitballing, I bet if the EU wanted to that they could successfully launch a digital euro type "fiat" using a DPoS blockchain with the central/large euro banks as the "block producers." they would still have centralization but all the benefits of block chain protocol and smart contracts. I'd love for the USA to beat them to it, but the US is too fucked up.

governments probably won't adopt even private blockchains until they can make some of the transactions private, like stuff for defense or intelligence. or they will just keep that off chain or something.
