Right if you're middle class you pay about 30% income tax. Would it be possible to get this number down to 20% or maybe even 15% while maintaining infrastructure, public order, and a powerful military?

If the right wing saw the prison-industrial complex as the spectacularly expensive form of welfare that it is, they might actually get on board with money saving, small government ventures like ending the war on drugs.
