>> No.10328503

I don't know if you understand how the US political system works, but a congressman simply saying "crypto should be banned" means nothing. there would need to be a bill first and a vote that would never have a chance of passing as the guy is a democrat and republicans would automatically oppose it

>California
If they could they’d legislate mandatory helmets whenever you leave the house.

I’m not worried about how they want to protect us all from crypto. The rest of the country will laugh it off.

Listen, like I said here >>10328503

The first step to "banning crypto" would be drafting a bill, having it pass by a majority vote in congress, which then goes to the senate and then the president.

The fact that a democrat is proposing this and all 3 branches of the government is currently republican controlled means there isn't an inkling of a chance this goes anywhere. It's never even going to reach the stage of being written as a bill and even then would never be pass congress.

I would be more worried if it was a republican saying this

Literally no one cares, just not an issue with any traction. We'll burn our self to the ground with thousands of new useless coins that will decouple the alts from bitcoin anyways. No one will cry for us.

Yea, we have this thing called "elected representatives" here that are put into office by the American people. If voters don't like their position on things, they don't re-elect them. Unlike places like China that has no voting except within the party or places like Turkey and Russia that just have rigged elections.

His best bud Putin banned crypto. Trump has no understanding of technology but he wants to be "very strong on cyber". If someone tells him terrorists get funded with crypto he'll sign an executive order banning it in an instant.

Did you even watch the stream? The guy went full retard throwing Fox News tier rebuttals.
>Why would the common law abiding citizen need crypto?
>Show me a use case because I don’t see one

He made a comparison with a hunting rifle and a hunting rifle having the ability not to retain fingerprints, why would you need such a feature?
He seemed to put privacy coins and regular crypto in the same bag or was disingenuous.

That's not true.
They could have rigged it so much she would get 100% of the votes if they wanted, but that would be fucking obvious.
The game is to rig it just enough to win and not make it too obvious.
