Is it safe to travel with a hardware wallet? I want to do some traveling but need my hardware wallets for work but am not sure if you get hassled at borders if security see what you're traveling with. Any experience with this?
>wipe em, store em in luggage, reset at destination with phrase
>buy em in new country, wipe and toss at end of stay
>travel with them in carry on

I have to make payments to clients and right now use hardware wallets so I can do it at home or when visiting family can still work via a laptop.

Bring fiat and stash your trezor in a floor safe or put it inside 10x plastic then bury it in your backyard.

Slip your hardware wallet into your prison wallet when crossing borders.

I didnt even think what to do with my actual hardware wallet if i leave it. Id wipe them, split seed up in a secret way, and restore when I return.

All these exchanges just have too high of a withdrawal fee, sometimes I have to send some small payments so have to do it from decentralized exchanges or specific wallets so Id still need to leave some coins on individual wallets.

Metal detector or full body scanner might show this.

Many thanks, I think I have this sorted.
