Not me, but my cousin has made a fortune selling furnitures. He even opened a big luxury store 2 years ago where he does his activity. Also has connections with top country businessmen and sells and buys internationally. Only thing I can say, He has been studying the market and the furniture bussines since he was in middle school because his father already owned a similar but much smaller store.

How's the work to profit ratio? I hear food service is pretty brutal in the amount of work you have to put in for a certain amount of return.

How does that work? Inherited land/boat or actually bought into it?

Furniture doesn't exactly sound like the sort of market one can break into easily.

I helped my mom open and manage a hair salon so if she dies I'd be an owner and a businessman.

Doesn't managing a hair salong involve being a hairdresser?

She is one and she still takes clients half time. Without that business probably wouldn't be successful at all, since under the previous owner it was borderline unprofitable.

Yeah, I was wondering about exactly that. How would you make it work? Besides maybe investing in a hairdresser wife which is not all that smart imo

I'm self employed and sell insurances. It's pretty good, I basically only work when I need money.

How does that work? What do you have to do? How does somebody get into this line of work? I'm not a burger so I doubt I'm competition.
