$50 for fish eggs! I can get practically 100 cans of sardines for that price at BJ's! you're being irresponsible!

It's about the experience of getting charged for being rich anon. If somehow Pizza ended up costing 100$ a slice, it would replace caviar overnight.

I don't know, but that black (sturgeon) caviar looks way too big, must taste like shit, the smaller the better.

What you want is the pic attached.
100 grams will cost you about $150 USD and upwards.

here's their menu, this is actually way more than $50 LOL
I ate there a while back

It's just a status thing. Much like people driving a Lexus and don't realize it's a Toyota with a different name.

Where the fuck is the regular food? That shit sounds fucking nasty.

I'd say it's more like new money people who drive maseratis and don't realize it's a fiat. Lexus is actually a quality car from a value standpoint.

that menu's actually pretty decent.
Also im assuming you're in Hungary since the prices are listed in forints.

Caviar is def. an acquired taste, sturgeon caviar (doesn't matter which type) should be only slightly salty, and to be honest it tastes better on small pieces of loafy white bread with
a small layer of butter, vs. what they gave you (blinis & what I assume is sour cream).

I've seen that so many times in western restaurants, but no one in Russia actually eats those small blinis with caviar (src: im originally from russia) and def. no sour cream.

Seems like you know what you're saying (I'm posting via PC now, thread was opened via phone so different ID)
anyways, I ate some of it from my hand as I remembered people instructed and the rest on that bread, it wasn't life changing to say the least lmao

their popcorn lobster was really good

Sure. My point is all they care about is that it's associated with having money. They don't actually care beyond that. The older Lexus vehicles would literally have a Toyota stamp on the motor when you pop the hood. It's pretty much paying more for different emblems that say I have money.

Is that Chris chans focus? lmao
