No, I chased highs on margin.

History: Put $30k into crypto July 2017
Hit ATH of: $275k in January
Didn't cash out, separated from job
Had 60k in shared bank, figured Id swing trade some to support myself for work
Bought $20k of ltc around 270
Used that LTC to trade on margin, lost it all
Paid $5k for taxes in April
Paid $7k for rent up until now
Paid $6.5k for other expenses.

Before savings: $90k
Current situation: Portfolio worth 66k, need to put back $60k in shared bank.

Will we see another rally this year biz? I figure if my current portfolio of $66k can go back up to around $180k then I can cash out $120k for myself and put back the $60k in the shared bank.

Dont hold shitcoins, my portfolio is mostly ETH/BTC.

Let me know your thoughts.

I did and I forgive myself for it. $52k in 401k still, I figure if we even get a relief rally to like $8k BTC I can sell off about $20k when my portfolio worth goes back to $100k.

$80k in, $40k owed. ~$40k total.

My main goal right now is to see a repeat of May, if I can replicate that then my main portfolio will be worth $190k, I can declare long term capital gains at 15%, my cost basis around ~$100k would put my gains owed at around $12k instead of $21,600

$180k - $21,600 - $60,000 would be right around $100k which id be happy with.

Listen to me though guys. I have sworn off margin trading completely. Any of you guys out there in a similar situation, even if not as extreme, lets talk about it
