There, I said it.

I like my job, my colleagues (nice and informal people) and my tasks.

Because of my skills, I am wanted on the market, I can get work anywhere with decent payment. I can negotiate my conditions to a huge degree. And even opening up my own company is an option, if I ever want to, because I grew a big network. But for now, I enjoy the freedom I have over the stress that this would bring.

Come on guys, I cannot be the only one here who is happy with his job.

Happy for you anon. If you're involved in the interviewing process for your team, frisk them good. I've had teams I liked turn bad and cliquish quickly due to laziness in hiring.

Hey OP, I'm finishing up a PhD program. I like my boss. I like my group. I like my work. The compensation is kind of bad for how many hours I put in, but at the end of the day, I have zero debt, a bit of savings and with my degree and boss' network, I doubt I'll have much trouble finding a job. I mostly just play crypto for fun. I mined my stuff last summer and already sold the hardware for a profit.
