29 years old boomer eurofag here.
I've been working as a wagecuck for the last 8 years. I finally got the possibility to chip into a biz deal with some friends of mine, and we are starting a business in our field.
I have no clue on how to manage a business, and would like to know if you can suggest some good books/resources for entry level business management.
I need to educate me on how to interact successfully with investors, interaction with employees, taxes and salary management, employees and roles organization, hiring processes.... anything really.
Please help a boomer out.

Congrats, you now understand why people hire graduates who have a major in business administration.

Go to your local library, look for books on these topics (forget any "easy" guides - these are basically memes and not very helpful) and lock yourself in a room for a month, then you have a very basic understanding of these issues.

Or you hire someone who studied it.

It's in the videogame industry. I wanted to avoid to specifying the field, because everyone would start giving me shit, assuming that I'm a basedboy or something.
I've been working with non-indie companies in the last 8 years, and my associates for 5 years.

This is not a possibility at the moment.

I'm not looking for an "easy way". I'm looking for straight up book suggestions.

Why, so you and your biz buds can create another clone battle royale? U have the same chance of success of being a celebrity as creating a successful studio. Please try to be unique.

No battl royles planned. We are indeed trying to be unique. I’m not here for marketing reasons, tough, not going to tell the company name.

Outsourcing to India saves money bit you usually have to dedicate someone to iteration on art. They always slack off or get something wrong. Czechs are good too in my experience, a little more expensive though.

Another industry specific thing is that "crunch" will save your broke, inexperienced asses. Especially if you hire greenhorns eager to make their first game.
