I work from home too, they didn't care about my degree as long as I work the minimums. I work on Sundays so I can finish by mid-Wednesday or Thursday. I only make about $50k, but I'm alright

If you feel like quitting anon make sure you at least have some interviews lined up while working. It's easier to find a job while working because you're already employed and people see that as a positive.

Also make sure you have a few months savings in the bank in case shit goes down.

No degree required, here's the path I took
>learn how to program on my own. Know the basics of C++ but mostly focused on Python and JavaScript. JS is becoming extremely useful now because a ton of companies are obsessing over Node.JS
>sign up for the one year free trial of AWS https://aws.amazon.com/free
>spend an entire year learning the ins-and-outs of AWS and everything it has to offer
>learn how to use databases, I went with MySQL
>after this one year of learning, you now have enough knowledge to get an entry level position
>pass the AWS Certified Developer Associate exam to get your certification https://aws.amazon.com/certification/
>get entry level job for about $70,000/year
>work there for three years
>update resume with everything I've done at my current company + 3 years of professional exp
>find a new job that pays $120,000/year
Company loyalty these days is bullshit. If you ever want a higher salary, 99% of the time it will be easier to just find a new job
