Do you have any experience with the sharing economy? More generally, how long until the word "gigger" becomes a slur?

I've done a lot of this stuff both part time and full time. They're all scams for the service provider, but you usually end up making a little under $10/hr after all the taxes/expenses. If that's good for you, great, but I quit because it's not sustainable for me. Only a few years ago these gig jobs could make pretty decent cash, and I was pulling in $20-40+/hr and putting it right into crypto. You're now competing with every unemployed loser who has a 1999 or newer beater minivan and doesn't mind making less than minimum wage (which is fine legally because you're a contractor).

I did:
>Favor (like DoorDash) for almost 2 years
>Postmates (like DoorDash) part time
>Lyft since 2015 part time
>Recently got on Uber (its shit)
>Drove a few other rideshare companies
