>be 22 year old guy
>hate the degree program I'm in and hate my job (no student loans)
>buy crypto in September and make 30k after December
>I decided quit school and my job which my parents were against
>me and parents fight all the time 24/7 because I have no 'real job' but I am able to make some decent money swing trading

It's come to the point where I moved out and have not talked to them in 3 months. Anybody else on the same boat? What should I do?

no op. it's b/c i do exactly what you do except i trade their capital as well so i made everyone in the family more money than both parents would ever make in 2 years.

Look for a job you enjoy and will make your parents happy

What was your degree program?

Really? You swing trade and cash out incrementally to pay bills? You see this as an okay long term financial strategy? With 30k?

I'm 30 and finally broke it off with my mom last year. Growing up was a nightmare with her, lots of yelling and screaming and meth use and shit boyfriends and human garbage coming in and out of our house. Always picked me up from school late. Never could show up to work on time. Lots of manipulation. Everyone in her family cut ties with her and me too by extension. Refuses to admit any wrongdoing, continues to try and gaslight me to this day.

Dad died 10 years ago

Move out op. You are 22. Discover your boundaries as a human, let others know. Cut ties if you have to.

Do what you want with your life.

>> No.10194644

Why were you living with them while working and doing fine with crypto?
Guess you were to blatant of a parasite to them.

Basically everybody in my family is a complete narcissist. It was better just to cut ties completely and live my own life. I'm exponentially happier for it.

As of now I'm about $500k and still work. Was $2mil at ATH.

Allows me to make long-term risky decisions by giving me a safety net in case shit goes wrong and by keeping my mind away from making stupid nervous trades.

My parents are retards, literally. They can't seem to save money and are always poor. Dad is working hard but is a meet submissive bitch and mom is a manipulative, controlling witch. Hate them both but I contain myself because I live in their house (I give them money each month as help for their bills and shit)

I guarantee you this is more than half of biz posters. Most of us here came from parents who were retarded with money and we realized it.

I became a fucking turbo Jew with my money when I came of age. 2008 my dad died and the economy crashed at the same time. It put things into perspective for me and it taught me not to buy shit I dont need like my parents did.
