We can all debate whether the bottom is in or bitcoin is going to 5k, 4k, 1k - you name it, whatever.

But do you really think the bubble of all crypto bubbles is already over and it will never recover in let's say next 5 years? If so, why?

There are still a large group of people that don’t trust banks and governments, and want to get out of that system. I think crypto has a definite future and BTC plays a part. It’ll go past $20k but I have no idea what will happen in the end. None of us do.

The amount of people actually using crypto is very very very small. If the market realise it, it may not recover. But it will not totally crash either cause is a very speculative asset and with teher you can keep playing this fake game easily

It will within 18 months and the bottom is already behind us. Call me a delusionist permabull but that's what I actualy beleive.

>But it has no use case hurrdurr

Yes, doesn't need any, the use case is that traders can make big bucks with it, that's the only thing that matters.

What I do know is that the current financial system is a ticking time bomb and holding fiat currency long term is riskier than bitcoin.

There are a lot of shills trying to scare people away from crypto but theres nothing else that can replace fiat. We either adopt crypto or become Venezuela. Bitcoin will probably always be at the center of the crypto economy like the dollar is today.

The golden bull run came and went. We will never see Bitcoin reach ATH again.

First off, this shit isn't going away. The digital equivalent of cash is absolutely necessary in this day and age. Benefits far outweigh the bullshit we bicker about on this board.

On top of that, now that legislation is being passed (or not passed) big players will start moving in these markets. Banks like making money, and in a prospective multi-trillion dollar industry of course they'll want to get a stake in early.

Bitcoin cannot get to 20k+ with a 1 mb blocksize. Fees will become unmaintainable, then volume will drop off and the whole market crashes again.

What do you mean? Bitcoin has 32MB blocks.
