I’m no coder but I had a thought today

Would it be possible to code something in python that displays all available calls that are sub .05? I’ve had my biggest wins on .02 and .05 calls.

I know there’s the site that displays the number of shares owned by the total user base so this might be possible.

Also maybe I’m just putting too much thought into this and there’s an easier way to view these options that already exist

If you weren't a nig nog with zero comprehension skills, you would have realized i'm self aware. There are different levels of being an attention whore, as I said in the video, and tripfagging is high on it. Am I an attention whore? Obviously, you mong.
However, I still maintain my correct stance that faceposting is worse than tripfagging.

Guys; I remember back in the day when I was predicting doom and gloom for the AU and NZ countries in the housing market and I wanted to offer a followup on this.
I'm going to try and wrap up my predictions; accuracy depending on our fellow anons to check my work. My motto has always been "/SMG/ I want you to succeed".

the way I believe it's been going is as follows;
>1. Chinese foreign investors either travel abroad and pay for houses in cash or in person take a mortgage loan;
>2. leads to rising housing prices in the country, then higher tax rates and higher mortgage; this leads to default or sale attempt
(more likely default, since the buyers likely won't want to go through the hardship of selling abroad)

The investment into property as an appreciating asset becomes a massive liability when there's an overabundance of people buying into it.
With China as a country trying to economically dominate the world as their warplan, their banks have overexposed themselves
(I believe, need more information about how chinese banking works)

It's difficult to time and difficult for me to really use fact basis; I predominantly invest on belief and psychology, past repeating present
but the chart I have; Australia and Canada blowing so high up; I remember in Houston where I used to live; massive ugly concrete towers being rented out as apartments (at 3x the cost)
It is not sustainable; I can't see this going on for much longer without intervention by government

Australia's banks are going to be sattled with property they can't offload; and they'll be biting the bullet on all those for a while, as with canada, as with united states
if you can save money before the crash (and survive your rent getting higher and higher), you'll have a lot of cheap property soon, in every country
what a swell country China is; if only treudough-boy was more concerned with economic affairs rather than social appearance

good posts anon

pretty interesting to see (though it would be nice if we had the x-axis timeframe on pic2) how the two most overinflated property bubbles rn are coming from the two places in the world where chinese new money is allowed to run rampant and completely unchecked. i cant see because it cut off, but im assuming USs large bend towards the south corresponds w the 08 crisis.

they were pumping up UK and US until suddenly, there was no opportunity there anymore. so where did they go? they went to the two other countries with notoriously high household costs for the max gainzzz. australia and canada. both (no offense to anyone here obv) countries run by literal pushover retards.
>"oh... you got money? well, come right in. buy a house or FIVE of them idc m8"

but that is a lot of extremely high risk debt those chinese banks have exposed themselves to. im assuming that this is due to that chinese imperative of "expanding and maintaining the dynasty". they dont care about the risks involved, they just want to expand economically in every developed country as much as they can. fast

i wonder if worst koreas circumstances are caused by chinese as well? either way, the real ticking time bomb will come when these houses all try to get sold at the same time, en masse (as the chinese are known to do). when this happens we will see house prices fizzle up almost immediately. as you pointed out, likely most of this risk is on the backs of the chinese banks. im assuming most developed countries put restrictions on their real-estate prices/loans after 08 (explaining major bend in all cunts in pic 2). but now australia and canada are getting pumped on the backs of chinese new money. billions of chinese all trying to "expand the dynasty" at one time.

im telling you guys, this is going to be far beyond the magnitude of 08. the debt implosion of china will make ours look tame by comparison. this will shock the fuck out of the global economy

the hard part about trying to determine chinas exposure to this is gonna be their books.
a couple things
>i dont know mandarin
>these banks are completely, openly controlled (more so than ours) by the govt. their numbers will be unreliable
>i know that their banking system is totally different from ours as they have a (i use the term loosely) "commie" command economy thing goin on

so its going to be a task seeing what level is chinese debt, and what level of debt is shouldered by australian and canadian banks.
trying to think if we had a way to subtract the difference of the total size of australian hi risk mortgages, from the size of the entire real-estate bubble. at the very least we could try to guess at how much of this debt originates from foreign countries banks.

determining chinas exact exposure to this will be nearly impossible, unfortunately (until it isnt lol). but any sort of estimation could yield some interesting results. i expect that the real slick chinese are leveraging out as much money as they can back at home, then going to other countries and using that money to leverage against themselves and take out loans from local banks. banks generally look the other way on this stuff, as everyone still gets paid, and everyone gets their hi risk loan fix (poor fellas have been w/d-ing hard since US bank "reform").

what do you guys think? is it even possible to determine if any of this is happening or not? what would be the global effects of china collapsing 08 style? what would happen to the massive amounts of "american" (again a term used loosely) and US corporations money invested over there?

China's in no danger of popping any time soon. They don't use debt anything like the way we do; it's purely an economic weapon to be leveraged. Take a look at how they acquire foreign ports and access through financing projects. Individual chinks never use credit; they save and but shit outright even if it takes a generation. In 2012 domestic banks would give out 7% savings interest rates to entice deposits because they couldn't get enough. Their domestic economy runs on corruption and back channel dealings, and taking advantage of the lower class. However, it's much less command these days. They have learned to copy consumerism from the west and use it to control the populace.

Xi is taking some aggressive chances for sure. Domestically the risk is that thousands of poor starve to death. But nobody gives a fuck about that and they'll be able to do a decent (but not perfect) job sweeping it under the rug. I think the real risk is extending too far internationally and getting into something serious militarily with Japan or more likely economically with the west (current tariff spat isn't serious). If major corps pull away from dealing with China we'll have a bad time. Yes there are other sources (Russia #2) and a proper trade war would just drive up prices, not halt production or anything like that. Secondary /ripple effects are what I'd worry about: markets stagnating, regional conflicts, etc. But I don't think that's a serious possibility. Chinks care about appearances more than anything else. Housing will continue to become a bubble unless something is done to change the regulatory structure around housing itself or bank lending for housing. The information asymmetry involved makes too many people blind to the market, and means certain actors who are closer to the river (mostly banks) can take advantage of the situation to make easy money selling scams. Maybe investors wise up eventually, but I'm not sure that they will because the incentives are there for them to ride the gravy train and just try to hop off before it crashes. It's like a relatively short term cyclical game of trying to accrue as much money as you can from a limited pot that you know will eventually be pilfered all the way to the bottom, at which point the bag holders get identified. Then after the crash the banks most hurt just turn to the fed and say they're having a liquidity crisis, and the fed buys their assets. Banks can even try to structure their balance sheets such that their exposure to the bullshit ponzis they've concocted can be reasonably construed as not making them bankrupt, they just don't have enough liquid assets right now to cover their losses since all their money is locked up in other longer term assets. They tell the fed "it's not that we are broke, it's just that the damn market can't bail us out right now because there isn't enough money going around to buy our assets at a fair market price!".

Supposedly this is how it works in Japan, but I don't know for sure. I visited Tokyo and marveled at how cheap their AirBnBs were compared to NYC, and when I looked into it it seemed as though the Japanese housing market includes a somewhat large component of housing that is expected to depreciate and be replaced. But that does seem to be the problem with housing here and in much of the Anglo world. People both use housing as a consumable, and invest in it as an asset in the long term. There is a dissonance between these two things, it causes weird shit to happen.

>I really dont think theres much upside potential in oil from here...
not from here certainly, but after a correction i could see it going up to even more retarded heights. still stand by oil being in the midst of the biggest bullrun its ever seen.

tho if were prepping for oil to crash, we should be sitting a little more cash than usual in preparation for the volatility that a quick move down in the oil market always brings. especially to DOW and industrials (and perhaps transportation, depending on how low it corrects to)

yellowish bars are OVX, whitish bars are VIX

if its a big move down in spot, we could see a pretty decent dip at some point

market maker stuff works in all markets, thats their job, make a market! when a company files an s-1 they need to have market makers sign it off saying yes they will support that stock and are willing to make a market for it. some stocks just keep going down due to dilution, but if there is no dilution the market makers will absorb the stock, then sell the stock, absorb the stock, sell the stock... making a market.. accumlation/distribution.

so im trying to think of a list of things that will snap back after the tradewar becomes "realized"/priced into the market, and then we realize it isnt a really big deal (or if it gets ugly for some reason).

scenario A: its not that bad
>treasuries: down
>basedbeans (and prolly some other agcoms): up
>equities market: up

scenario B: it IS that bad
>treasuries: MOON
>agcoms and basedbeans: BOGGED
>equities market: sideways to bog

the real question is how this would affect our dollar. forex confuses the shit out of me desu

The report said Australia had a net-inflow of 10,000 millionaires in 2017. The Department of Home Affairs confirmed "high wealth individuals may also be granted visas through other visa classes [outside the business and innovation programme]" to explain the difference between the two figures.

"That is the highest net migration of millionaires to any country last year in absolute terms, let alone correcting for population," said Grattan Institute chief executive John Daley.

"This is in a year where, Australia's top marginal tax rate was relatively high [45 per cent] and cut in at a relatively low income [$180,000]. Singapore, with its very famous 15 per cent tax rate, only attracted a thousand millionaires.

Then they always want to either buy something they think is "low" even though it has endless dilution or they want to try and get you to buy the pull back of a stock that has already gained 150%+ for the year then wonder why the rug was pulled out from under them... this thread sometimes is the dumbest fucking thread..

It never works or its never worth the risk due to theta decay while you wait for the underlying to pass the break even point which is further out as it has to makeup for the soon to be useless other side.
The other reason is due the only time you except big moves is around earnings or some kind of conference meaning the IV will extremely high and vega will make a large part of both contracts.
Thus when the big move happens you still get IV crushed immediately after and don't make any money.
