if Ziliqua's solution was viable then the Ethereum devs would have ported it over to ETH. It's all open source

Zilliqa is a chink scam. They used ICO funding to launch a super aggressive marketing campaign. All the articles about them in forbes etc are sponsored content

from what i've seen ZIL is one of the most anti -marketing project out there, even the binance listing is from a voting contest.

>>10180480

I think ZIL solution requires you to build from the ground up, eth can't afford doing that (correct me if i'm wrong because i don't very familier with ZIL, i just know they're doing sharding as well and the fud is incredibly weak to not suspect they've something going on for them)

Ethereum is a mess.

I can't believe no one called them on their shit when the documented functions defaulted to private but they actually were public and the multisig send got the private declaration removed & 10s of millions were drained.

It is literally a leaking ship technically speaking. 99% of crypto is fucking amateur hour.

Tezos is competent. Bitcoin. Maybe Monero (it's at least unique). Most of the rest is shit (Cardano maybe if they ever release?)

what are your thoughts on dfinity? looks like a good one to bet on besides zilliqa and cardano.

Yea dfinity is interesting. Essentially the foundation keeping 50% of the tokens is a big mistake imo.

I think they will remain closed sourced because of this. And closed source crypto is DOA in my book (no idea how the market will respond)

Dero has already made Monero obsolete. It does everything Monero does but better without any of the bugs. When they release their private smart contracts, ETH will also become obsolete.

Don’t worry, natural selection will take place in the ethereum ecosystem.

This is why good coders are paid well

The Ethereum devs are the only ones in this scene keeping it real, they're actually continiously working on scaling and Casper (PoS) will be coming within 6 months.

In the meantime all other projects are boasting with fancy roadmaps and bullshit promises (umlimited scaling, done in just a few months!).

No other blockchain does what Ethereum is doing while at the same time staying decentralized, the main fucking charastic of a blockchain.

Ethereum is a slow burn, but when it's done it will be the marketstandard -it already is- and it will flip the shit out of good old Bitcoin.

Before that day all other coins will become irrelevant because everything is already happening and possible on the ETH network.

Augur launching in 2 days btw.

Ethereum deserves to lose to something else at this point, developers are fucking around so much it's not funny.
Unfortunately crypto space as it is now is hype >> technology, so instead of genuine competitors there's shit like eos. What a shitshow.
I wish I didn't believe vitalik's '2018 is the year of ethereum scaling' in january.
>Did this make zilliqa a sure winner?
ziliqa has a fucked consensus algorithm. It uses pow as a way to generate 'separate identities' which doesn't make sense. These 'separate' nodes then vote on consensus. There's a reason ethereum doesn't copy this bullshit 'solution'.

tezos is technically roughly equivalent to ethereum with full PoS, all that michelson stuff can in principle be implemented on ethereum (solidity is compiled to evm, michelson can be too). Right now, comparing bare protocols, tezos is just a tiny bit better. Comparing the whole ecosystem it's not even a start to ethereum.
If they manage to get much better fast they could win, but I wouldn't expect it to happen. They need to do something that ethereum can't do at all, and not just do existing stuff a tiny bit better (or cheaper).
A potential buy.

Eh, ethereum is a leaking ship with a load of technical debt.

Tezos is far ahead of eos, neo and cardano although they consistently duck up on marketing and dumbass decisions.

The market seems to care more about hype than deliverables & technical prowess so I may lose it all )& I'm ok with that)

But we will see. I'm a bad shill as well.
