/biz/,

What should one do with their lottery winnings? I'm talking tens of millions here.

I want splerg a tiny bit of the principle $1million max (prob less), then invest the rest for income. What would you do?

You should win the lottery first and make these considerations later

Buy 50% partnerships in plenty of companies that don't have stock tickers yet. This way you and the other guy split net profits 50/50 without any bullshit. Make sure to only buy into companies where the guy in charge is already handling things and only needs money to advance (open a new branch or something).

The kicker is, if any of the dozen companies you do this with DO ever get big and get stock tickers, you can buy 1% stock and own the company with your 51% control.
