>suddenly making more per month mining on just a Ryzen CPU than all my 4x 470 GPU's combined on Monero

Wtf, how did I not hear about this piece of shit earlier?

Looks like a shitcoin if you ask me, but the numbers don't lie. I literally started mining on my shitty laptop too for an extra $8/mo.

No shitcoin anon, I just found out about it yesterday and after doing my research bought 200k NIM and started mining it... this shit can be mined by any normie in a browser with absolutely zero technical knowledge and ledger support already.... but its not even fucking listed on CMC?... this is blockchain 2.0, definitely going to be on bittrex, waaaay undervalued, will pump hard once it gets on the trex and CMC lists

It's 11NIM per Khs, so if you could only mine 1khs then yes. Most laptops can get somewhere between 10 - 20 khs using a client.

>>10164439

1. Go to nimiq.com and click on Safe to make your account. No need to download or install anything.
2a. (Easier, less rewards) Once made, go back to the homepage nimiq.com and click on miner. It'll start mining automatically once it connects to the network, make sure you turn on a mining pool though (Sushipool, Nimiqchain or Nimbus are all good). No need to download or install anything.
2b. (slightly harder, much better rewards) Go to https://nimiqdesktop.com/ and download the beta miner there. Run it on your desktop, then you can start mining. You'll need to get the pool domain and port info from their respective websites, again I suggest Sushipool/Nimiqchain/Nimbus.

also, is this coin NET on cmc or no? I thought this coin was 30 cents. on other forums they are talking about the price being half a cent?

>> No.10165029

>>10164974

Yeah there's still confusion around that, it's something the community wants rectified ASAP but CMC are jews and require 100k 24 hr trading volume before they'll fix it.

NET was the ICO token back when it was announced mid last year. The ICO was used to raise funds to launch the mainnet. 1 NET basically equals 100 NIM, and the only purpose of NET is to exchange it via the Activation link on the website for NIM.

https://coinlib.io/coin/NIM/Nimiq is the most reliable for now, 0.003 USD per NIM has been the price for about a week now. It's dirt cheap to buy and easy to mine, absolute prime time to accumulate.

what will be the circulating supply?
current mcap is ''already'' sub 10 million or ?

>> No.10165138

>>10165065

That's the supply for NET, which again is confusing as fuck.

Current total supply is 3,034,947,282 NIM. The actual circulating supply is more around 1,500,000,000 as there is NIM locked up in the development fund and charity fund by the dev team.

Max supply with be 21 billion NIM, divisible to 5 places. There is a gradual block decrease over time, block rewards started at 4405 but are currently around 4285 iirc.

If BTC and NIM are both at max supplies, and had the same market cap, 1 Nimtoshi (0.00001 NIM) would equal 1 Satoshi (0.00000001 BTC)

I mean, if you're looking to buy NIM TradeSatoshi is pretty good. 0.1 withdrawal fee for NIM and 0.2% trading fee. Also has the most liquidity out of the exchanges so far. It's not much but it's better than the others.

nimex.app is cheap but less liquidity and you'll need an invite since it's still in beta.

>> No.10167378

>>10167260

I mean, since it's divisible by 5 instead of 8 like Bitcoin, all you would need to do is divide NIM by 1000 and it'd be the exact same supply as Bitcoin. 21 million with 8 decimal places vs 21 billion with 5 decimal places.
