Central Banks are getting nervous. From lard ass himself, “Cryptocurrencies do not fulfil any of the three purposes of money. They are neither a good means of payment, nor a good unit of account, nor are they suitable as a store of value. They fail dramatically on each of these counts.”

>They are neither a good means of payment
He's right. Sending BTC to some random wallet is still error-prone as fuck. All it takes is an accidental keystroke before hitting "send" and you just lost $300 or whatever with no way to get it back. There needs to be a more streamlined and standardized way of paying with crypto, like a big button that says "pay with bitcoin" and you hook up your wallet, and the money is withdrawn from your wallet. No room for error.

>nor a good unit of account
I don't know what this means.

>nor are they suitable as a store of value
Objectively true. Imagine buying into the "store of value" meme in December 2017, and then looking at your "stored value" now. :(

He said cryptocurrencies rather than BTC, so he invalidated his own argument. Typical nocoiner.
